Is semi-permanent cosmetic make-up a career for me?

The opportunities for skilled permanent technicians are many and varied. Career and business opportunities vary greatly depending on the individual technician’s training and desires. Many nurses and doctors, as well as hair, skin, and nail care professionals are choosing to train in permanent cosmetic procedures. The technician requires a creative ability and will be required to perform fine detailed procedures.

If the Student has no recognised qualifications all theoretical and practical aspects must be covered in the course. This will be included in the work we provide and in the 20 hour pre-study homework. Classes are small with 1-2 trainees. Models are provided while you train at the Academy and you will have hands on experience of the procedures. After completion of the course you will return for a one day assessment. If you are successful you are then offered malpractise insurance and receive you diploma.

It is important to note that this is a skill that requires a steady hand and a very artistic eye. We will cover in great detail the theory as well as the practical side of micro-pigmentation. Qualified therapists also often need to review their understanding of the skin structure and make-up skills. The course is designed to work at a pace that suits you.

What information will I get?

You will receive a detailed training pack for approximately 20 hours, which we ask you to study prior to attending the course and then you will be assessed. No more than two students per tutorial. Once you have decided on our course and paid your £500.00 deposit our manual will be posted onto you. This will give you the time to complete your pre-course reading.

Assessments

Students will be assessed for competence at course and post course and will have to provide 12 procedures with photographs when the course has been completed and will have to come back for an assessment day before issuing a Certificate on Completion and Passing the Course.

10 level speed control Machine including one year warranty. This machine has no restrictions as all skin types can be treated, i.e. oily, mature, thickened skin and normal. skin. (If the test and consultation are complied with). Machine and pigments has passed the E.C requirements in the configuration Tested E.M.C and complied with the standards specifiedCovered on your course
